DBBMUN International Online 1st Edition

With the enthusiastic participation of nearly 50 delegates debating simultaneously between Mexico, the United States, Nigeria, and Portugal, the 3rd Edition of DBBMUN Online took place on Saturday, October 19. It was also our first international online conference, promoted among students from schools and institutions with which we have educational agreements.

The event succeeded in linking and connecting young people of very diverse and different nationalities, ideas, cultures, and realities in real time. Beyond the topics of debate, we were thrilled to see them debate in a cheerful and respectful space with a high potential for transformation in the sense of bridging distances, opening doors, facilitating friendships, and accompanying the development of essential life skills that have much more to do with the creative and intelligent use of information for assertive communication than with the information itself.

Two World Health Organization (WHO) committees on the topic of Prevention Protocols: In the event of a possible Mpox Epidemic were part of the virtual setting in which, over three sessions of intense debate, resolutions were reached in which each delegate participated and learned in their own way, from their own level of experience and knowledge, and in a safe and entertaining environment in which they learned not only through practice, but also with the guidance and assistance of our group of expert moderators.

Congratulations and many THANKS to all the delegates who participated and won. THANKS also to our dear organizers and staff members (Miss Gina, Rubén, Gonzalo, Stefi, Javi, and Marifer) because we know of your great commitment and teamwork in overcoming the academic and technological challenges, which were not few, and THANK YOU today and always for the incredible support and trust we receive from all the DBB sister schools and institutions and from the extraordinary group of parents who are a fundamental part of this joint effort to provide quality education for a better future.

Until next time...

Robert
