Dear all, good morning.
Despite the busy weeks we have had, I owed it to myself to sit down and share a little bit about what we do with such enthusiasm and dedication, because this new school year 24-25 brings with it a period of strengthening our structure as an organization. One of the keys to this has been the educational partnerships we have been fortunate enough to build over the years, which are the result of a collaboration with a common mission and vision of providing quality education with warmth.
We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Crismar School in Yucatán for their trust and for having the courage to be regional pioneers in implementing our Club MUN program in your school and bringing it to your classrooms week after week in person. We are very pleased that this second year of joint collaboration has brought significant growth in the number of students enrolled in the workshop that DBB teaches at the school with the unconditional support of Ale and Gonzalo, who teach and coordinate it respectively in an exceptional manner.
The beginning was not easy. We know that change is accompanied by initial resistance, and the tremendous support of the school and its principals was crucial in overcoming this obstacle. Thanks to this, we are very pleased to say that the seed has begun to sprout and that this new cycle of our partnership is beginning with 19 enthusiastic MUN delegates who, through fun activities, reflections, intelligent research, and interactive games, are learning not only the useful application of technology and how to resolve conflicts through negotiation, but also how to work in a collaborative team despite the diversity of ages and genders (6th grade to 10th grade).
We feel fortunate to be witnesses and members of a very proactive and friendly school community and family environment that promotes and understands the importance of Global Citizenship for young people while pushing them decisively toward their growth and development of skills and self-confidence with a view to a future that is on its way and will soon arrive.
Thank you for being part of our community.
Best regards.
Robert...
