Gina Farrés begins her educational journey and starts working with Model United Nations.
The project that would eventually become SICMUN—and later Delegates Beyond Borders—was born in a classroom.
DBB begins a new stage and accompanies its first Mexican delegation to Texas: six students and one teacher.
New schools, destinations, and experiences expand our community and allow us to support young people through different stages of their education.
DBB continues to evolve into an international educational ecosystem that connects learning, cultures, and people.

Gina Farres
An educator since 1993 and involved with Model United Nations since 1995, Gina has dedicated more than three decades to supporting the development of young people.
Founder of DBB and creator of SICMUN, she directs our academic proposal with one conviction: each student needs the right challenge, tools and support to discover what they are capable of.

Roberto Sada
He joined DBB in its early days to transform an educational project into an organization capable of growing without losing its essence.
As CEO, he leads DBB's development, international programs, and expansion, ensuring that each new stage preserves what has defined DBB from the beginning: closeness, support, and experiences built around young people.

Debbie E. Shepherd
An educator with more than three decades of experience, Debbie has dedicated her life to teaching and training other educators.
Co-founder of DBB in the United States, she has been instrumental in building our presence and programs in that country, bringing experience, confidence and a deep educational vocation to the DBB family.

Juanjo Sada
With experience in systems and data in large-scale companies, Juan José builds the technological infrastructure that accompanies DBB's growth.
His philosophy is simple: the best technology is the kind that goes almost unnoticed. That's why he develops intuitive tools that simplify processes and allow our team, students, families, and schools to focus on what really matters.

Paulina Penkoff
After a career in the culinary industry, developed in a creative and multicultural environment, Paulina found in DBB a space to connect communication, creativity and personal development.
As Director of Communications, she builds our voice and identity by seeking to convey not only what we do, but why we do it, and how each experience can help a young person discover new possibilities.
